Sharing Dreams: Cuban and American Designers Across the Digital Divide

From 25 June to 9 August, 2007, Queens College of the City University of New York will host Sharing Dreams, a unique cultural exchange project between the AIGA's Center for Cross-Cultural Design and Prografica, Icograda's professional Member association in Cuba.
The thirty-six imaginative and brilliantly colored posters in this exhibition were created in the annual cross-cultural exchange between Cuban and American graphic designers, who shared ideas and experiences to build a portal for a global design community. Each year the project culminates in the International Digital Design Exhibit in Havana, Cuba, where designers from the US and Cuba explore the intersection of design, technology, culture and meaning beyond each country's geographic and political borders.
