Vitra Design Studio features work of Belgian designer Maarten Van Severen. The Belgian designer and interior architect Maarten Van Severen (1956-2005) was an idiosyncratic figure in the realm of international design. An essential aspect of his work is the intense engagement with a few basic furniture types such as chair, table, chaise lounge, shelving and cabinet, for which he developed fundamental solutions.
The exhibition opens Friday, November 23.
Exhibition dates: November 23, 2007 through February 10, 2008
The exhibition is free and is open daily. Mon-Sat 11am-7pm, Sun 12am-6pm.
