Infinite Chair by Hoet Design
Hoet Design keeps moving on. Following the recent launch of the Fold-line in April of this year, the Belgian design company has come up with two new designs: the "Infinite" chair and a furnishing accessory entitled "Dream".
Infinite is an aluminium easy chair with voluptuous contours finished off with a cushioning strip in black vinyl for added comfort. This design marks a new departure for the Hoet furniture range, which until now consisted primarily of tables and chairs.
The easy chair is constructed of a combination of curved lines and planes. There are no feet or support fixtures, only two separate undulating elements that melt together to form one flowing whole. This unity automatically ensures stability.
The Infinite model originates from the same relentless drive to innovate and create new forms as previous Hoet designs. As a design team, they set out to bring a fresh approach to existing products, to subvert the classic forms and to bring their own unique style to design interpretation.
Infinite is a handcrafted product and is available by order only.
Dream is the latest addition to the Hoet Design accessories range. This mirror is the fourth consecutive following Margriet, the Twist and the Hand.
The mirror is in the form of a head and is supported by an aluminium hand. The result is an elegant figure that reflects your own contemplative, dreaming image as you gaze into it.
