“It seems that my children always want snacks while we are away from home. I searched for snack storage solutions that would be easy to tote,” said product designer Crystal Figlietti. “My young children were my inspiration and I adjusted the design so that it is easy for them to use.”
Inventor and entrepreneur Crystal Figlietti realized the need for a solution while out on two shopping trips with her toddler. He wanted snacks but couldn’t hold the plastic bag well enough to get the snacks out neatly himself. In addition she wasn’t comfortable letting him have the plastic bag himself due to his age.
The innovative, patent-pending new product is made of water-resistant polyester with PVC plastic lining which is safe for food storage. It fastens easily to any horizontal bar utilizing its hook and loop closure to hang open so children can easily reach contents inside. It can be hand washed and hang dried.
SammyDesigns is based in Pacifica, California and was founded in 2004 by Crystal Figlietti with the focus on solving basic travel needs with stylish, simple products.
