Interview with 3rd Peugeot Design Comptetiton Winn
Interview with André Costa at the Geneva Motor Show

Were Peugeot models your inspiration in creating Moovie, and if so which ones? I didn't use any model from the Peugeot range as a reference to create Moovie. I wanted to be in tune with a world that is at the fringe of what we see on the streets today, so I tried to get away from mass production models. I studied Peugeot's concept cars carefully, especially their lines, in order to absorb the make's styling themes. However, I adore the 406 coupé for its sublime simplicity.
Environment-friendliness appears to be central to the Moovie concept. Do you think that concern for the environment is the future for cars? Environment-friendliness should be a central concern for car manufacturers, and I do not believe that today's car industry can avoid looking for new energy solutions Pollution levels in urban environments are sufficiently high and some cities no longer let cars drive through them, and manufacturers just cannot ignore this.
Are you a regular in this type of competition or is this your first try? I took part in the first Design competition in 2000. I then got a newsletter when a new competition started. This year I decided to take part because I reckoned I was sufficiently mature to submit a quality project.
