Cubix Light: Twist It for Light
The latest Goodss design, "CUBIX Light" is composed of nine layers of plywood frames, alongside on one axis. By twisting the frames, multiple forms can be created. The freedom attains a breakthrough of the traditional lampshade design.
The space formed by overlapping between the layers streams the light for a feel, a feel controlled by the unique setting of every end user. The intelligent reflection of light avoids the harsh light cast from the light bulb. It results in a harmonized balance of light and shadow, which continually extends into the volume of space, enhancing the overall ambiance.
Apart from other lamp designs which limit on the use of lampshade materials, shapes and colours, Goodss always bears in mind that "a simple design can speak the volume of space". Therefore a good lamp design, in view of Goodss, can make good use of the personality of light, a nature of reflection and extension. The freedom of light transformed would remind you of the Chinese "revolving lanterns".
The concept of "CUBIX Light" is consistent with other designs of "Concept" series, such as UNI-FRAME, the interlocking acrylic multi-storage system, or Cubic stool, all with a unique composing nature, a versatile design leading interaction between space and creativity.
About Goodss As a new environmental furnishing label in Hong Kong, Goodss always aims at paying extra attention to every customer's unique, sometimes hidden, aspects while adapting the environmental elements in the design to improve their quality of life.
