Cupful Design is launching four new exciting sofa tables, in two different concepts.
A Cupful of Simplicity
Cupful Design has just launched their collection "A Cupful of Simplicity", consisting of three cheeky sofa tables made of aluminium and glass, produced in one single piece. The inspiration source is the Japanese paper folding art of origami.
The form language and material of the collection, with its distinctive and simple expression, is in marked contrast to what is so often offered today.
The vision has been to open up the eyes of the spectator, for a material which, in this circumstance, is boldly new and unique.
The three tables have a common expression, though each one has a singular character, offering its own distinctive place in any given situation and environment, both at home and in the office.
Vita
Vita is a very distinctive sofa table which was inaugurated at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in early 2005. It is now available on the market and can be ordered through the Cupful Design website.
"The intention has been to create a simple but stylish table without unnecessary details, and which differs from the traditional products on the market. It has therefore been produced in one single piece of acrylic, where the legs also serve a dual purpose of magazine racks. The name VITA is from the Latin word of "life", and clearly refers to the living form of the table," says Cecilia Lundgren.
About Cupful Design
Cupful Design is a newly founded design office in Sweden, focussing on design of furniture and interior products, both for domestic and international clients. The company is creating their own collections, while also accepting ad-hoc assignments.
A combination of creative design and an excellent knowledge of material results in concepts of strong identity and design solutions of high quality.
Cupful Design is founded by Cecilia Lundgren and Erika Norberg, having taken their exam at the Design University in Kalmar with a Bachelor of Arts in Design.
