New Coffee Spoon for Alessi by Denton Corker Marshall
Architects Denton Corker Marshall have designed their smallest project to date - a coffee spoon for Italian design master Alessi. The new spoon, part of Il caffè Alessi collection, accompanies Denton Corker Marshall's Presto coffee cup, launched earlier this year. Speaking about its design, Director Barrie Marshall commented, "This is a simple stainless steel folded plate that is as much a stirring stick as a spoon. It is for people who liketheir sugar with a twist." A set of four coffee spoons (11cm) in 18/10 stainless steel retails at $49. Presto comes as a set of two mocha cups in bone china with saucers and retails at $199.
