Fiskars Acquires Cloud 9 Design and Heidi Grace Designs
Fiskars is Delighted to Announce Two Recent Papercrafting Acquisitions - Cloud 9 Design and Heidi Grace Designs.
Cloud 9 Design, based in Minnesota, features papers that are hand-made and then reproduced to give a beautiful, three-dimensional appearance. They are well-known for their Themed Paper Collections, Innovative Page Coasters, WoodStone Collection, and most recently their innovative Page Coasters and Photo Banner Collection. "Simple, time-saving, cutting edge and upscale" are the words Nancy Martinez and Amy Brinkman, who founded Cloud 9 Design, use to describe their products.
Heidi Grace Kress is a creative young artist whose Washington-based company features fun and whimsical stickers, papers, and embellishments for scrapbookers and paper crafters. In addition, Heidi Grace Designs recently introduced its successful line of Pocket Scraps, which includes cards and envelopes that coordinate with colorful stickers, rub-ons, acrylic and plastic embellishments to make it simple to create the perfect personalized effect. "We are very excited about adding these two outstanding companies to our portfolio as we continue to build the consumable portion of our business," says Chad Vincent, President of Fiskars School, Office and Craft Division.
Fiskars will support the design of products from the current headquarters of both companies, while moving the distribution divisions to Wausau, WI, and the operations to Fiskars' North American headquarters in Madison, WI.
