Getting Ready for the Copenhagen International Furniture Fair
The campaign has been launched for next year's furniture fair in Denmark - Copenhagen International Furniture Fair - which is being held at Bella Center on 4-7 May 2006. All former and potential exhibitors have been sent registration forms, and the organisers have already negotiated the first stand locations with a number of key exhibitors, says Exhibition Manager Camilla Demuth from Bella Center.
For 40 years, Copenhagen has had a proud tradition of hosting international furniture fairs. In 2005, the Copenhagen International Furniture Fair was given a facelift which included a keener design profile and increased focus on new talents and trends in the industry. At the same time, even more efforts are being devoted to international marketing, which in the next few years will position the fair as one of the most significant design events in Europe.
"We have been delighted with the positive feedback on the new fair concept which we have received from exhibitors, visitors and the media," says Camilla Demuth, and continues: "We have also received constructive suggestions regarding improvements and new activities, many of which we are already busy implementing."
Copenhagen International Furniture Fair 2006 will be a centre for the entire spectrum of furniture, lighting, textiles and interior design accessories for private homes, commercial buildings and public institutions. The target groups are Danish and international buyers, furniture dealers, architects and other professional decision-makers in the industry.
"We will, of course, work hard to make Copenhagen International Furniture Fair 2006 as exciting, inspiring and surprising as the 2005 event. In 2006 we are presenting the theme "Create", where we will be focusing on the creative process and allowing visitors to the fair to actively participate in the design process," concludes Camilla Demuth.
