The New Kitchen Matrix: Shifting Boundaries
Free and easy, open and inviting... These are a few of the adjectives that describe the restyled ALNOSIGN. A kitchen without boundaries or barriers, a kitchen free from conventional thought and restrictions, a kitchen created to reflect the times we live in.
Today's modern kitchen is open to the rest of the home, and as such, the kitchen now must function on several levels, from food preparation to social interaction, from entertainment center to living-room. More furniture, than kitchen, the ALNOSIGN blends seamlessly into the living and family areas of the home, successfully achieving the delicate balance between form and function.
Today's kitchen, in its new domestic role, finds itself reflecting a family style based on the sharing of traditional roles and function. The living area embraces the kitchen as a multifunctional arena, were food is prepared, people talk, homework is finished and guests are entertained.
Since 1927, ALNO has been recognized the world-over for using design and technology to create exclusive kitchens for discerning individuals. Personalization lies at the heart of ALNO with its wide range of details, accessories and finishes. Each ALNO kitchens is made to order to meet the exacting specifications of the client.
ALNOSIGN is available in seven designer High-Gloss finishes, including Artic Yellow and Ice Blue.
About ALNO USA The foundation of ALNO was laid in 1927 when Albert Nothdurft opened a small carpentry shop in the town of Wangen bei Göppingen. The success of this workshop, and the fine quality of the hand-made products it supplied, led to its relocation to Pfullendorf in 1957, and in 1958 the prosperous carpentry workshop developed into ALNO Möbelwerke GmbH & Co. KG ("ALNO Furniture Production Ltd.")
Mirroring the rapid economic growth that was seen throughout Germany and Europe, ALNO Möbelwerke GmbH & Co. KG developed by leaps and bounds, so that in 1995 the company was converted into a joint stock company with shares being traded on the Stock Exchanges in Frankfurt and Stuttgart.
In August 2003, ALNO was acquired the Casawell Service Group, a network of companies active across the globe in the fields of kitchen design and technology. In addition to the factories in Alno's home town of Pfullendorf, where kitchens are manufactured under the ALNO brand name, ALNO subsidiaries throughout Germany include such iconic brands as Impuls Küchen, Gustav Wellmann GmbH & Co., Geba Möbelwerke, and Wellpac Möbelwerke.
