Daka Development Receives Distinguished Design
from China Award
Daka Development Has Been Recognized For the Design of Its Dual Power Shake Light by the Design for Asia Award 2004
The Design for Asia Award is
dedicated to promoting design excellence and raising awareness amongst
businesses and the public that good design is key to the quality of life and
business success. Awards are presented to companies around the world that
have created business successes out of good designs that reflect or have an
impact on Asian lifestyle.
Daka Development Ltd. ("Daka"), known throughout the world for its
creativity and forward-thinking, has received the Distinguished Design from
China Award, to be presented at the Award Presentation Gala Dinner on 18
November 2004. The Award Presentation Gala Dinner will be held at the Hong
Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, and the Guest of Honour will be Mr.
Henry Tang, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong SAR Government.
Daka's engineers have come up with a novel, safe and highly efficient
solution to the standard battery operated flashlight, the Shake Light. The
concept is simple, just shake one of these lightweight units for a few seconds
and you have light. Recognized for their patented Ultimate Emergency
Flashlight, this shake to charge flashlight also contains a battery powered
super bright twin LED mode.
