Heimtextil Goes City!
15 January 2005:
Frankfurt's interior decorators with insights into the latest textile trends
There will be a distinct Heimtextil feeling even in downtown Frankfurt on Saturday, 15 January 2005. Over 20 selected interior decorators will be opening their doors for some very special events during the world's biggest trade fair for home and commercially-used textiles. Customers are invited to find inspiration for new home ideas and to immerse themselves in the world of textile design from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
"With this campaign, we are taking the Heimtextil into the city and, in practice-oriented demonstrations, will show the latest trends exactly where customers can either buy or order them there and then", explains Mi-chael Schwarz, General Manager of Raumdekor Schwarz GmbH and spokesman of the Interior Deco-rator and Saddle Maker Guild (Raumausstatter- und Sattler-Innung), Frankfurt am Main. In their individual presentations, the interior decorators will show how customers can style and refurbish their rooms using the whole spectrum of textiles, i.e., from plain or elegant decorative fabrics, ultra-modern wall coverings and upholstery elements to carpet, wallpaper or curtain collections. Moreover, anyone who always wanted to know, for example, how window decorations are made, how antique upholstery is restored, how to paper walls professionally, how decorations are sewn or how carpet is laid, will be able to see experts in action on the Saturday. The activities planned by the interior decorators include 'Spring', 'Impressions of Home Sickness', 'The Live Curtain Studio', 'Mediterranean at Home', 'Dream Room', 'Cocooning Vernissage' and 'Oldtimer & Tradition'.
The interior-decoration companies taking part are: A. + H. Hahn, August Karp Raumausstattung, A. Kremer, Bernd Madl Raumausstattung, Keppler - Knauber Raumausstattung, Moll Raumausstattung, Neles Mode im Raum, Otto Bense Raumausstat-tung, Otto Schlier (Kosubek), Rainer Henrici Rau-mausstattung, Raum + Textil, Raumausstattung Claus, Raumausstattung Gentes & Heinz, Raumaus-statter Marianus Rössel, Raumausstattung Rund um den Raum, Raumdekor Schwarz Raumausstattung, Raumgestaltung Tilo Ramm, Renner Autosattlerei, Rosenbaum & Griebel, Raumstudio Breitling and Tapeten-Kaul Raumausstattung.
