Concrete Pictures Expands Operations with Three New Hires
Broadcast Producer Laura Gillespie, Art Director Mike Yoon and Designer/Animator Tom Schiro to Provide a Triple Punch to Production and Creative Services
Concrete Pictures, a leader in television branding services, announced today the appointment of three new hires whose combined talents will greatly enhance the company's creative and production services teams: Broadcast Producer Laura Gillespie, Art Director Mike Yoon and Designer/Animator Tom Schiro. This announcement represents Concrete Pictures' continued growth and commitment to its clients.

As Broadcast Producer, Laura Gillespie will report directly to Miles Dinsmoor, the company's Senior Vice President of Production. Gillespie joins Concrete Pictures with over 12 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Prior to joining Concrete Pictures, she worked in programming and acquisitions for Starz!/Encore and Hallmark Entertainment Networks. In 2000, she became a long-format producer for such cable networks as HGTV, Food Network, Discovery and Fine Living.
Designer/Animator Tom Schiro will work under Andy Hann, SVP Creative Services. His more than 10 years of experience includes designer/animator posts with companies such as NBC, Unisys Corporation and Modern Video Productions. Majoring in Illustration, he received his BFA from University of the Arts in 1994. He also studied Design and Advertising at Syracuse University.
Mike Yoon, as Art Director, will also report directly to Hann. An industry veteran, Yoon has held executive positions with Telenium, Element, Film-East and WPHL-TV. His track record boasts extensive recognition, including BDA Silver and Bronze Awards, a Promax Platinum Award, an Individual Achievement for Design in the Mid-Atlantic Emmys, and a regional Addy Award.
