Elgorithms Releases MagicTracer, A New Raster-to-Vector Conversion Program
MagicTracer is a raster-to-vector conversion program for Windows.
Elgorithms releases MagicTracer a new raster to vector conversion program for the Windows platform. MagicTracer can be used to quickly convert a scanned image to vector artwork. It works with all Twain32 compliant scanners. The converted result can then be modified or exported to other vector-editing programs.
MagicTracer is different from other raster to vector programs because it includes both raster and vector tools. MagicTracer also offers a unique overlay feature to increase the ease of editing in both raster and vector modes.
The vector conversion process is a simple 2 step procedure. These steps include applying an Edge Filter and Threshold then applying the vector conversion. A real-time preview is also available so you can tweak the settings before executing the trace. You can export the vector output as DXF, WMF, DC2, and XYZ.
For more details see the videos and the official website. A 35-uses fully-functional trial version is available for download.
