Seattle Design Firm Helps City with "Green" Efforts
Seattle's Design Hovie Studios is actively involved in the City of Seattle's efforts to inform and inspire others to take care of our valuable natural resources. From brochures promoting "green" (environmentally responsible) building to the most recent annual drinking water quality report, Design Hovie Studios is creating materials that move the city to another level in its desire to connect with a larger audience.
Creating materials that attract attention while staying within the city's printing guidelines (using recycled paper and soy-based inks, etc.) can be a challenge. But Creative Director Hovie Hawk says he's out to prove that just because a project is designed and printed "green", it doesn't have to look recycled in the traditional sense.
Taking advantage of the wider array of colors now available for "green" printing, using white recycled paper rather than the customary natural craft stock, and incorporating relevant photographs into sleek modern designs, Design Hovie Studios has created materials that stand out and inspire.

Design Hovie Studios Inc. is an international graphic design boutique based in Seattle, USA, providing graphic solutions for web, print, and identity.
