W2 Architectural Lighting Introduces Brochure Featuring Architectural Elements
Bridging function and design, W2 Architectural Lighting introduces a color brochure featuring "Architectural Elements," a new family of contemporary pendants crafted with a sleek, contemporary design and scale for large, challenging spaces. W2 Architectural Lighting, a division of W.A.C. Lighting, offers specification grade products for commercial, hospitality and retail applications.
The new brochure features color images and specifications on "Architectural Elements," which feature decorative pendants with clean lines that complement today's modern interiors. Achieving a perfect balance of color and light, the pendants are designed with glossy, cased Opal glass shades to spread light evenly and minimize glare.
Shades are offered in four different styles, and with stunning glass trims in a variety of colors: Blue with White Frits; Green with White Frits; White with White Frits; Amber; Blue; and Clear. The canopy and socket set are finished in Brushed Nickel.
This new family accommodates both energy efficient compact fluorescent lamp sources, as well as incandescent. Fluorescent pendants accommodate input from 120 to 277 volts, making them perfect for commercial lighting applications. By turning the finial, the lamps can be raised or lowered up to 2 1/8 inches.
The pendants are suspended by stainless steel guide cables, which help balance the shades and double as decorative accents. These cables may be shortened in the field for optimal lengths.
"Architectural Elements" pendants range in total height up to 106 7/8 inches or 107 3/8 inches, depending on the style. Shade height is 14.5 inches, with a 12 1/8 inch width.
In addition to "Architectural Elements," W2 Architectural Lighting has introduced many lines: "Precision Spots," a series of upscale, die cast aluminum track heads; "Precision Modules," a series of multiple recessed spotlights; the "Norfolk Series" of decorative luminaires; "Flexrail2," a 2-circuit line voltage bendable rail system; and a new line of die cast wall washers.
W2 Architectural Lighting will utilize W.A.C. Lighting Company's extensive manufacturing and engineering capabilities in its ISO 9001-certified, production facilities in China. Product development will initiate from our corporate headquarters in New York through the involvement of leading design professionals for both the aesthetics and engineering. The division will also share W.A.C.'s west coast distribution center and offices in City of Industry, Calif., and corporate headquarters and east coast distribution center in Garden City, NY.
