Creative Department Expansion at Renegade Marketing
Leading non-traditional marketing agency Renegade Marketing Group has added five designers to its creative staff due to strong account growth and recent new business wins, announced Drew Neisser, CEO.
The new Renegades, who report to creative director Fanny Krivoy, include: Lillian Coryn, associate creative director, Michael Surtees, senior designer, and Phil Ramunno, junior Flash designer. "These talented designers will enable us to continue to offer the highest level creative product, from websites to on and off-line advertising and marketing materials to our growing list of clients," said Ms. Krivoy.
Lillian Coryn (age 32) Associate Creative Director Before joining Renegade's Creative Department Lilian worked at a variety of interactive design studios, from boutiques, such as Digit (London) and Fabrica (Italy), to larger agencies including: Red Sky and R/GA. Clients she has worked for include: Volvo, Nike, JCrew, Swarovski, Nikon and Microsoft. Some of Coryns' work can be seen at www.wellmadeworld.com. In her non-office time, she enjoys martial arts and cycling.
Michael Surtees (age 29), Senior Designer From Edmonton, Alberta, Surtees drove 2,500 miles in a U-Hall with his best friend (and wife) Tamara and their Weimaraner named Maddie. Surtees has worked in a small design studio, a web/print agency, a large IT company and a college. A 2000 graduate of the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication design, he was president of the Alberta North Chapter of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC) and was recently elected to the National Board of the GDC as vice president, communications. In NYC he has joined the AIGA and will be part of the New York Mentorship Program that starts in September.
Yuliya Parshina (age 24) was born in Moscow, Russia, and has been a New Yorker since 1994. After trying her hand at a wide range of majors like photography, journalism, and foreign languages (Russian and Italian), she graduated from the School of Visual Arts, Computer Art department, as a CG animator, in August 2005. She has since freelanced as an illustrator, concept artist, animator, motion graphics designer, 3d texture artist, and prop maker. Outside of work she's often making art projects, working on a new animated short, grooming her guinea pigs, and trying to learn to tango (it's not easy!)
Phil Ramunno (age 22), Junior Flash Designer/Developer A native of Buffalo, NY, and recent graduate of RIT, Rochester, Ramunno has moved to New York to pursue his career. A major in New Media Design & Imaging, he became enamored of Flash development as a senior.
