Hans van Heeswijk Architecture 1995-2005

The book "Hans van Heeswijk Architecture 1995-2005" has won a price in the competition "Die schönsten deutschen Bücher 2006" organized by Stiftung Buchkunst. The extraordinary designquality of the book has resulted in this prestigious price.
Stiftung Buchkunst was founded 1966 to the public aware of good bookdesign. Every year they search for the "most beautiful and most excellent book designs". This year 942 books were nominated in eight categories. In total 45 books were rewarded with a price and twelve books received a special mention.
The award winning books all stand out by their design quality, concept and highly technical finishing. "Hans van Heeswijk Architecture 1995-2005' won a price in the category specialist literature ("Sachbücher, Ratgeber").
All winning books will be extensively documented in a bi-lingual catalogue that will be launched at the Book Fair Leipzig March 22- 25 2007. Furthermore the books will be shown in approximately 70 exhibitions around the world and celebrated at the Frankfurt Book Fair of October 10-14 2007.
"Hans van Heeswijk Architecture 1995-2005", counting over 600 pages and more than 800 illustrations is edited by architectural critic Hans Ibelings. The graphic design is by Irma Boom Office. Compilation by Johanna Günther and published by Ernst Wasmuth Verlag, Tübingen.
