21Boom Creates Show Graphics Package for Food Network's 10 Days to a New You

21Boom, the award-winning New York-based creative studio, has kicked off 2007 by helping Food Network viewers keep their New Year's resolutions.
The 21Boom team created an animated HD open and show graphics package for the Food Network special, 10 Days to a New You. In this prime-time hour-long show, diet and fitness guru Ellie Krieger works with three busy individuals, all battling different weight and health issues. She takes each of them through 10 days of easy-to-follow suggestions, hints and tips on how they, and you, can be on the road to a healthier life and body.

"The open had to convey the concept of forward movement," said Markus Horak, Creative Director at 21Boom. "We wanted to infuse the show graphics with a sense of ease and attainability and the excitement of a fresh start."
By designing the open animation as a colorful horizontally-moving timeline, and by featuring footage of Krieger and her three trainees engaging in everyday activities, 21Boom was able to incorporate the themes of possibility and progress.
10 Days to a New You premieres on the Food Network on January 6, 2007 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
