Outside/NY Sign Senior Prodcer Jen Sienkwicz

Scott Gaillard, owner of Outside/NY, the award-winning SOHO-based editorial and visual effect boutique, has announced that Jen Sienkwicz will join his company's staff as senior producer this month. Sienkwicz brings her diverse background in the high-end commercial, broadcast, cable and interactive entertainment arena to her new position. Previously, during a six-year stint at Crew Cuts, she held the same title while working on a diverse mix of spots for a long roster of clients that included GE, Frito Lay Brands, Visa, Pepsi, Gillette Brands, MTV World and SNL.
"Jen magnifies those things already so prevalent in our team of producers by displaying qualities that seem almost impossible to find these days. Her raw intelligence and ability to anticipate our clients' and their projects' needs is a powerful combination. Couple this with her grace and poise and you have someone who is able to elevate our entire service offering," notes Gaillard. "Jen also brings a broad range of past experience from some of the best facilities in New York. "
Outside executive producer Sila Soyer, adds, " Jen's work with a long, distinguished roster of companies and clients gives her a big-picture perspective, which encompasses everything from high-caliber live-action production, visual effects, animation to emerging media. That kind of knowledge is invaluable to Outside, as we continue to expand and grow."
Sienkwicz is also an alumni of Jump, where she produced high-profile campaigns for such clients as AT&T, Xerox, Merrill Lynch, and 7Up, as well as spot projects for Jump's off-site editorial division, Film Not Film, based out of Saatchi & Saatchi/NY.
A graduate of the University of Georgia, Jen Sienkwicz began her career as a junior producer for Dennis Hayes & Associates in Atlanta, before making the move to the company's New York office a year later.
"What attracted me to Outside is that it provides both clients and staff with a flexible and fluid creative environment," observes Sienkwicz, "It has world-class talent and a creative environment that's driven by their innovative, collaborative approach to every project that comes through the door."
Jen joins a creative and management team headed up by Soyer, an industry veteran who, along with senior editor and company founder Scott Gaillard, has put together a talent roster that includes editors Neil Gust, Scott Gibney, Jeff Ferruzzo and Steve Evans, as well as award-winning Discreet Flame/Inferno artist Steve Mottershead, senior graphic designer Jaime Lamond and graphic designer Riccardo Sinti.
"Agencies expect to find the integration of high-end editorial, design and VFX talent under one roof," Soyer points out. "Jen's ability to put together complex effects-driven jobs, while turning them around quickly and efficiently makes her a perfect fit for us."
"The diverse backgrounds and interests of their talent, and their shared sense of design and love of music, provides a producer with an eclectic talent pool with limitless creative potential," notes Sienkwicz. "At the same time Outside's facility anticipates its clients' every need, and provides a casual, open-architecture environment with over the top creature comforts."
