9th RTT Conference
Highlight of the Year for the Visualization Scene
On April 10th and 11th, Vienna will light up as Ferrari, Adidas, Sony Ericsson and Airbus come to town to discuss the latest developments and trends in high-end visualization. Vienna's renowned Hofburg venue provides the backdrop for the 9th RTT Conference - the annual highlight on the visualization scene's calendar, hosted by Realtime Technology AG (RTT).
For the ninth time, designers, virtual reality specialists, marketing experts, developers and design engineers from top brands in the automotive, aerospace, consumer goods and furniture industries, as well as media agencies, will gather for their annual summit.
The RTT Conference has established itself as an important networking and media event for 3D high-end visualization professionals; the two day program offers presentations by top speakers from a variety of industries, as well as a series of discussions and expert workshops. Shigeyuki Kazama and Michel Saboune, design gurus at Sony Ericsson, will share their thoughts on the challenges of global design processes. Tom Engelhardt-Schilpp, Visualization Manager at General Motors Europe, will discuss visualization trends in the automotive industry. Oliver Zeplin from the aerospace giant Airbus will reveal some of the company's latest virtual innovations. A particular highlight will be a lecture by Shinichi Mukai, CEO of Uchida Yoko, the Japanese furniture manufacturer.
An extensive program of complementary and evening activities rounds out the event.

RTT Conference Becomes More International Than Ever
Located in the heart of Europe, Vienna is a global city providing an ideal backdrop for the international character of the event. This year RTT AG expects more than 300 guests from over 20 countries to attend. Decision makers, as well as marketing and design executives, from Sony Ericsson, General Motors Europe, Adidas, Ferrari and Airbus will be present. The accompanying exhibition provides the perfect opportunity for high-tech presentations by companies such as NVIDIA, Samsung, Barco, A.R.T., 3Dims, Videlco, Viscon, Intel, Videocation, Microsoft and Visenso.
Showcase for New 3D Talent
For the second time in a row, this year's RTT Conference will honor the winners of the "RTT Emerging Technology Contest 2008". RTT AG, together with its partner NVIDIA, presents awards to student research projects in the categories of "Interfacing & Interaction", "3D Rendering & Simulation Software Technologies" and "3D Content Realtime."
The winners are given an opportunity to present their work to the public and in the accompanying exhibition.
