Bene Scores at Red Dot Award

For its innovative table programme T-Platform, Bene was awarded the "red dot award: product design 2007" by Designzentrum Nordrhein Westfalen. "red dot" ranks as one of the most renowned international design prizes. Bene received the coveted red dot award for the eighth time.
red dot symbolises excellence in design and business - and is a globally recognised quality certificate for top design. "We are very happy about another award for our company", rejoices Thomas Bene, CEO of Bene AG, "it proves our commitment to design is a factor in our success".

Award Winning: Dynamic Back Office The work and conference tables of the T-Platform series (Design: Christian Horner, Johannes Scherr, Kai Stania) are part of a comprehensive product initiative launched by Bene for the back office functions. The table panel design distinguishes itself by its systemic and modular structure. Additional features are individual configurations of the third (vertical) working level. This provides many options: modular panels in various designs provide a visual and acoustic shield, create individual work areas and facilitate concentration at work. The modular system promotes dynamic work places that can easily be reconfigured. A myriad of configurations facilitate flexibility and individualisation. Sophisticated cable management together with different platform functions improves work comfort offering rapid power connections and access to the data network for temporary use. As a result of trendsetting premium design, T-Platform's tables become an essential tool for creating lively and motivating workspaces.
International Quality Certificate for Good Design Advancing design is a key function of the red dot awards and features- in terms of design and functional aspects - the best products currently available on the market each year. The effect becomes obvious: After 2,068 entries in 2006, this year's competition totalled a record number of 2,548 entries from 43 countries. "Both the number of submitted products, as well as their quality standards have been outstanding this year", comments Professor Dr. Peter Zec, initiator of the red dot design award and president of the international design association Icsid, "Design can be characterised as a key innovation factor of the industry."

And the Winner is ... Bene This year the international jury has awarded the quality certificate red dot in twelve categories. The most important nomination criteria were: Innovation, functionality, formal quality, ergonomics, symbolic and emotional message. Bene received the red dot award for the eighth time. "The award is evidence that our product has the potential to succeed internationally", states Thomas Bene.
