Flickerlab Names Franklin S. Zitter Producer
FlickerLab, the New York-based design and animation studio, has promoted Franklin S. Zitter to Producer, it was announced by Tammy Walters, Partner/Executive Producer.
Zitter started with FlickerLab as an Associate Producer in August, 2004 working closely with the design and animation studio's creative animators, designers, compositors and editors, on a variety of film, broadcast, commercial, corporate and children's projects for the likes of Bravo, Hooked on Phonics, Move on PAC, Lions Gate Films, Pepsi-Cola, Planned Parenthood, Ford, A&E Networks, Nickelodeon, and Proctor & Gamble's, +SmithGifford, Grey Worldwide, Comedy Central among many others. Additionally Zitter plays a key role in managing the technical operations of the studio.
Before joining the FlickerLab family, Franklin Zitter worked at a number of New York City-based companies including Picture This Television as postproduction coordinator on Celebrity Poker Showdown (Bravo); as an assistant coordinator on NBC's The Apprentice; at E! Entertainment/Style on various NYC Fashion Week productions and as an assistant on The Howard Stern Show; and, for BusinessWeek TV, on Money Talks (ABC/Biznet TV) running camera. Earlier in his career Zitter was a key member of the production crew on numerous PBS/WHA-TV (Madison, WI) programs where he played a variety of roles including assistant director, technical director and camera operator for shows such as live news and NCAA Sports broadcasts.
"Franklin has become key to production at FlickerLab. His wide range of expertise and ability to handle multiple projects with varying technical challenges had made him an invaluable member of our team," explained Tammy Walters of his promotion.
Zitter, 28, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin (Madison, WI) where he earned his Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Communication Arts and Theater/Drama, and worked in the sound department of the UW Department of Theater and Drama.
Franklin Zitter currently makes his home in Astoria/Queens, New York.
