Image Source Comes Out on Top

Image Source, the world's leading independent producer of royalty free stock photography, has been named as one of the UK's best employers. The company has made it onto the list of Britain's Top Employers 2008, and is the only stock photography to have ever done so.
Britain's Top Employers aims to identify objectively the companies that, through dedication and innovation, have managed to create a culture that embodies an outstanding working environment in which the employee is appreciated and productive. These are the companies that have formulated successful solutions for the management of their valuable human capital.
"It's wonderful to be recognised as one of Britain's Top Employers", said Christina Vaughan, Image Source Founder and Chief Executive Officer. "We have always known that investment in our staff is a crucial part of our growth and success and we have implemented many schemes and processes to support, nurture and inspire our employees."
The list is compiled by CRF, an independent organisation that initiates, co-ordinates and delivers international business research projects worldwide. A distinguished panel of industry experts and leading business journalists carries out the research, interviews and selection.
"Image Source is a Top Employer because the whole business is based around people", adds Duncan Grossart, Image Source Chief Executive Officer. "Image Source would not be the industry leader it is without the fantastic people who create, retouch, process, market, sell, distribute and support our images."
The full list of Britain's Top Employers will be announced at the award ceremony on 20th March.
In October 2007, Image Source featured in the 'Ones to Watch' section of the Best Companies Guide 2007, the leading guide to the top UK companies. Using feedback directly from employees, the Best Companies Guide measures employee engagement across eight key areas and produces an index score to provide a rank. Image Source is the only photo library in the guide.
