ROKKAN Launches West Coast Operation
On the heels of a string of successful sites for clients such as Virgin America, 2k Games, Time Warner, Kiehl's, Nintendo, and Atlantic Records, full service Interactive Agency ROKKAN announces the opening of a new San Francisco office dedicated to supporting their existing client base, and opening up new business opportunities for the booming tech sector. The new location will be headed up by Client Strategist Jessica Altus and service clients on both coasts creating additional bandwidth and resources to take on more robust, long term projects. The west coast office will be totally integrated both technically and culturally with New York maintaining unity and client accessibility.
Discussing the impact on ROKKAN's new location, Altus offered, "We've been working toward this goal for quite some time. Having had agency experience, I understand the importance of increasing our internal bandwidth to make us better able to take on a diversified group of projects for clients worldwide. The San Francisco office plays an instrumental role in our efforts with longtime client Virgin America. ROKKAN is currently working on enhancements to VirginAmerica.com, loyalty program Elevate, Virgin America's first community site, and has plans for several community-driven initiatives for the client."
John Noe, ROKKAN's CEO, has been instrumental in the company's expansionary efforts and commented, "We wanted to offer our clients proximity to our studio - and be more available for face-to-face connections. The new office gives us all of this and greater potential to build new, long-term relationships that we're known for on the east coast."
Client Strategist Jessica Altus is the company's liaison, dealing with the specific needs and expectations of the clients. She must continually plan and execute ways to better serve the direction of different clients while still maintaining the integrity of Rokkan's vision. Jessica coordinates projects and sees them through from start to finish, troubleshooting when necessary, otherwise creating a smooth transition through each stage of the project. With a strong background in advertising, Altus analyzes industry trends and brings cutting edge strategies to the table that will generate business for clientele.
Prior to joining the team at ROKKAN, Jessica was at Leo Burnett Worldwide as Assistant Account Executive for New Business and then in a Creative Recruiting capacity. While there, she was constantly on the hunt for fresh talent. She was in charge of maintaining an open dialogue with creative directors concerning clients. needs, and finding opportunities to enhance the overall creative process.
Altus attended Columbia College Chicago where she received a BFA in Advertising Art Direction and Photography.
