Stink Digital Launches

London-based production house Stink has announced the launch of a new sister company, Stink Digital.
Where Stink's focus has traditionally been on broadcast television commercials, promos and short films, Stink Digital will offer services geared specifically for other emerging new media channels. This includes production and creative services for branded content, webfilms, virals, integrated websites, mobile content and multimedia installation work.
Former Boards Magazine Associate Editor Mark Pytlik was approached by Stink to set up this new venture earlier this year. "The opportunity to be able to work with a roster of directors the calibre of Stink's in an area as exciting as digital was too good to turn down," he said. "After a summer of hard work, we're really excited about what we're offering."
In addition to representing Stink's directorial roster for larger scale projects, Pytlik is building a Stink Digital-specific satellite roster of new young talent more suitable for smaller jobs. This roster includes an international stable of live action, animation and design-based directors as well as photographers, designers, mixed media specialists and Flash designers. The group's combined output includes digital work for Stella Artois, Adicolor, London Met, Nokia and Playstation 2 as well as two Grand Prix Cyber Lions (new signing Hobby's work for this year's Diesel project '15mb of Fame', and Randy Krallman's 2006 Airforce One hoax viral for Ecko).
With a few jobs already completed and directors pitching on new projects before the company's targeted launch, Pytlik says the response from agencies and clients thus far has been encouraging. "I think people appreciate seeing a name brand like Stink truly investing in digital," he says. "We're really looking forward to building more creative partnerships and getting involved in projects that push digital creativity forward."
