The Ebeling Group Open London Office
The Ebeling Group sees an expansion this summer into the UK and European Market. With offices already existing in Los Angeles and New York and with a roster that includes world renowned directors and designers: MK12, Nakd, Lobo, Convert, Tennant, Bitstate and XYZ the expansion and promotion of their talents within the EU is well overdue.
Alex Webster, formerly Head of New Business at Knucklehead and Deputy Head of Production at MPC, was approached by Mick Ebeling earlier in the year with the offer to open and run the UK office. He says of the company "I was blown away by the overall quality and breadth of work".
He explains "We are opening in the UK to meet the demand from Ad agencies within the UK and Europe to work with our directors without the hindrance of time zones... we want to expose our directors to the fantastic creative opportunities that exist over here"
Joining Alex in the UK and The Ebeling Group worldwide is Gabrielle Lott, former Editor of The Reel and Head Researcher Contagious Magazine who will act as Marketing Director for the group, she says "When I was approached by Mick Ebeling to join I found it impossible to say 'No'. The work is some of the best that I have seen... who better to work with and promote than a group of multi talented and incredibly interesting designers and directors"
TEG will fit in well within the UK market; two jobs are already in production, with directors also involved in pitches on a number of other projects, even before the official launch date. As said by Alex, "It's a great start, but we are well aware that it is a very competitive market and we have to perform individually and collectively to do well, which is why our core team; from directors and producers through to marketing are all industry leaders in their respective fields. We believe very strongly that great production has to go hand in hand with great creative".
