Milano Film Festival 2004 Edition International CompetitionMilano Film Festival 2004 will be held in Milano, September 10 - 19.
In 2004 the international film competition will reach its 9th year: also this year it will be opened to short and feature films of any genre, length, language and format that have been produced in the years 2003 and 2004 in any country of the world. (In 2003, 1500 works were submitted from 74 countries and 350 screenings were held during the 10-days event). The directors will be in the cinema while their films will be presented without being divided in categories. The deadline for short and feature films' entries is June 30, 2004.
What's more, all competing directors will be eligible to take part in the "holidays project" in the festival's city: seminars, workshops and parties for 10 nights and days and an ideal "directorsville " - with 300 rooms for all the festival's guests - where to have some rest, lunch together, meet people and leave for guided tours around Milan. After the festival, starting from September 20, the film redistribution project in Italy and Europe will start again, creating an alternative circuit of film distribution and reaching 150 cities.
