In June 2008, editorial and creative house Ultrabland recruited editor Scott Harrison to the New York-based boutique.

AARP, one of the largest and most influential member organizations in the U.S., with 39 million people and growing, approached Behavior Design to create its new cutting-edge web site and online publication.
As a champion for social change, helping people navigate ageless realities, AARP wanted to deliver a market-leading online presence for its existing and future members.
Realizing the need to develop a visual design that aligns with the changing needs of its audiences, AARP hired Behavior Design to incorporate web-based information and tools to reflect this change.
The re-branding was aimed at infusing a youthful energy into its position as the ultimate user-advocate.
The organization also desired to take full advantage of Web 2.0 and deliver a well-rounded and energetic user-centered website.
Behavior, in harmony with AARP's business objectives, began the project with a complete overhaul of the site's look and feel.
As a result of moving toward a more elegant aesthetic, the new site conveys a fresh and engaging tone.
The enhanced image was further complimented by a reorganization of the site's valuable content.

Intel Corporation today announced a collaborative animation project to produce a computer-generated animated short film for theatrical release.
The Mass Animation Project, presented by Intel, will be open to established and aspiring animators.
Intel is sponsoring the development and promotion of a Facebook Page where animators will be able access a collaboration application built on the Facebook Platform, and will work together to create the animated short film.
Starting this fall, artists around the world will be able to contribute by animating small pieces of a 5-minute, professional-quality animated short film.
The start date will be announced soon.
"This is a great opportunity to bring together computer graphics with the creativity of both Hollywood and the Facebook community" said Michael Hoefflinger, general manager of Intel's Partner Marketing Group.

Design is the single most important criterion that determines a successful web application, yet web application development tools are totally oriented around programming and exclude designers from all but the initial stages of the development life-cycle.
There is growing debate now emerging: do designers need to learn programming or do programmers need to learn design?
The profound difference in these two disciplines makes such hybrid skills extremely unlikely.
Time, then, for a new paradigm, where web application development is abstracted into a primarily design-focused discipline, with programmer input reduced to a relatively small, though necessary part of the process.
