![]() Catalyst Studios Releases New Spot in Award-Winning Art for All Campaign for TargetLeading digital and interactive agency Catalyst Studios has released its latest spot, "Art Interacts" as part of the Art for All campaign created for Target. To date, the campaign has been honored with awards by Communication Arts, ID, and HOW magazines, as well as the Retail Advertising and Marketing Association, AdFed and the Association of Independent Commercial Producers. The iconic Target bullseye is the star of Art Interacts, taking the audience on a journey into the DNA of the bullseye and discovering a world of never-ending activity. Inside this world, individual logos reveal animated, silhouetted figures performing athletic and artistic feats. Joyfully, the figures circle around, choreographed to a backdrop of original, circus-inspired music that includes a playful nod to Take Me Out to the Ball Game. New York-based graphic live action and motion design firm Eyeball brought Catalyst Studio's concept for Art Interacts to life using Adobe CS 3 on Apple Quad Core Macs, creating both 2D and 3D characters. From there, they used 3D Studio Max and Adobe After Effects to create the individual character animations and completed final editing with Apple's Final Cut Pro. The playful music was directed by Alex Moulton of Expansion Team and written by the same composer who created the music for Ringling Brothers' newest extravaganza and also arranged orchestration for Cirque Du Soleil. more catalys... ![]() Tronic Studio Enters the Matrix for OracleCreative collective Tronic Studio, drew on its architecture expertise in designing a freestanding outdoor LED display for Oracle OpenWorld 2008, the world's largest gathering of Oracle customers, partners, developers and technology enthusiasts. They were also tapped by Oracle to direct and animate all the branded content for the event, which included one: 30 spot and one: 60. The conference, held September 21-25 at San Francisco's Moscone Center, drew some 43,000 attendees. "Oracle OpenWorld was the latest example of the strong branded content work we've done for clients like Sony, Hitachi, Target and others," notes Vivian Rosenthal who co-founded Tronic with Jesse Seppi. "Oracle didn't want a typically corporate feel for its large-scale outdoor LED at Fourth and Howard Streets. They wanted something that would engage conference attendees as well as pedestrian traffic, something that would make people stop and think about what Oracle does." Based on Oracle's tag line, "Connect. Collaborate. Learn," Tronic developed a pair of CG and live-action spots, which ran in a loop on the big screen. Using the software developer's signature red and white color palette, Tronic took viewers inside Oracle to a CG world where, within the Oracle matrix, people connect, collaborate and learn. more Tronic Studio Enters the Matrix for Oracle design directory Tronic Studio > Animation Design Studios added by Levent OZLER |

Before the soldiers embark on their inevitable fate, we see them in their most vulnerable states. One soldier stares down at a photo of the loved one he's left behind, while another takes a moment to admire the beauty of a sole flower in the battlefield. With the entrancing backdrop of Devotchka's How it Ends appropriately scoring the spot, we are engulfed by the power of the message. more Anonymous' Kosinski and T.A.G.
