Trollbäck + Company Rolls Out the Orange CarpetVisual and conceptual creative studio Trollbäck + Company recently created the graphics for one of the biggest events in Hollywood, Nickelodeon's star-studded Kids' Choice Awards.
Hosted by Justin Timberlake, the show, often hailed as an Oscars for children, airs on Saturday, March 31 at 8 pm with performances by Beyoncé, Gwen Stefani and Maroon 5.
Applying its trademark approach of idea-driven design to an audience of kids and teenagers, T+Co produced a fun and dynamic package closely connected to the event and its location.
Tied to the visual elements is a strong narrative in which the cable network's signature green slime and orange blimp play the lead roles.
The energy of the event is captured with graphics full of unexpected twists and playful details, such as Timberlake exploding into slime and the journey of the Orange Carpet rolling out of the ever-present blimp.
T+Co used a combination of 2D and 3D to create a slightly surreal world, highlighting surprise and play as the show celebrate its 20th bow.
