Channel 4 and the Design Museum Team Up for E-stings ExhibitionDigital youth channel E4 and the Design Museum today announce a new exhibition that will showcase the very best E-Stings of all time, alongside the short-listed works from this year's competition.
A collaboration between E4 and Creative Review magazine, E-Stings is an annual competition that encourages viewers to submit their animations or short films to form part E4's distinct and mischievous visual identity.
Every year, the competition receives hundreds of submissions of an extremely high standard from across the country.
The short-listed entrants are showcased on E4 and E4.com with coverage in Creative Review, and the overall winner is further rewarded with a £15,000 commission to create a series of brand idents for the channel.
Opening at the Design Museum on the 25th of February, the exhibition climaxes with a late gallery opening on the 29th where the 2007 winner will be announced.
Peter Spiers, Marketing Executive at E4 said "We're thrilled to be working in partnership with The Design Museum on such a unique exhibition.
E-Stings has been an incredibly popular competition that has produced some remarkably inventive and imaginative work."
Josephine Gaffikin, Communications Manager at the Design Museum adds "E4's cutting edge image has an amazing appeal and the E-Stings exhibition is a great opportunity for the Design Museum to showcase and celebrate today's design talent."
