Australian Studio Resin's Latest for Mamee Monster Noodle SnacksOver the past few months the studio has been busily working away at it's latest spot for Mamee Monster Noodle Snacks.
Resin handled the project in it's entirety from the agency storyboard through live action direction and production, then the creation of the 3D character from the ground up.
The team carefully planned and executed the live action production which included an enormous amount of documentation at the shoot, capturing our own HDRI data for lighting reference, detailed measurements for tracking and the challenge of building up enough reference points on set for our talent to perform to.
Resin also worked with the RED ONE camera for the first time on this spot.
Back in the studio Mamee was created from the ground up with a full rig for the range of body and facial movements required for this spot.
In the visual effects industry CG fur is arguably one of the most difficult beasts to tame and the team spent weeks refining the fur to get the right look for Mamee.
The result is a fully dynamic hair system that reacts to movement and collisions, with the ability to be lit with environment lighting.
