th1ng Launches th2ng: Live Action Studio with a Twist

th1ng, the award winning mixed media and animation house, has expanded with the opening of th2ng, a new dedicated live action production company concentrating on advertising.

th2ng (pronounced "th2ng two") will be headed by long standing Soho producer Hannah Cooper, and anchored by the talents of experienced live action directors including Dan Lumb and only-just signed Simon Cracknell and Stuart Fryer complimenting the rosta of 8 directors.

th2ng has already directed and produced its first major commission for Comic Relief.

The commission features an A-list UK music legend and will be officially screened early next year.

th2ng will focus on live action TV commercials, but also deliver productions combining live action with animation, and as a collage of mixed media.

th2ng will partner with th1ng for an exclusive use of its post production facilities integrating live action with 3D VFX.

The launch of th2ng has been driven by the existing opportunities in the live action market.

The move has seen th1ng restructure, and diversify its directing talent.
