Prague Calling

Executive producer Dominic Buttimore of th1ng, London-based mixed media and animation studio, will chair Europe's leading film and animation conference Pencil to Pixel held in Prague on 4th and 5th February at the Lucerna Cinema.

He will be joined on the speaker's panel by film titles designer Richard Morrison and a delegation of London's leading film, animation and production experts including Andy Morahan and Meg Guidon.

The two-day event aimed at European students of film, media, animation and visual communication will give an insight into the real world practice of creative industries and address some of the finest work in animation and filmmaking of the previous year.

The focus of the festival is to raise awareness and involvement in filmmaking and inspire students through practical interaction.

Speakers will present and discuss a selection of their work and at the end of each presentation there will be a question time where students are given the opportunity to quiz the speakers on their careers, work and inspiration.
