The Sims 2 University: The Sims Go to CollegeIt was, of course, inevitable: given the success (both in excellence of design and pure sales) of The Sims 2, not to mention that it's the sequel to the biggest-selling PC game ever, Electronic Arts was going to give us expansions. Likely, a whole deluge of them. Fans will not be complaining.
This weekend, Electronic Arts announced the first The Sims 2 expansion pack: The Sims 2 University. It's time for your young, promise-filled Sims to go to school.
The expansion will add a new "young adult" life stage. In order for your Sims to move from childhood to adulthood, you're going to have to send them off to college. You Sim will choose from 11 different majors, opening up four new career paths. Of course, college life won't be easy (or boring), whether your Sim lives in the dorms or breaks into a fraternity. The Sims 2 University will include the parties, the complicated social connections, and all the barely-in-control craziness of going to school.
