Winners Announced in CoCreate's Design CompetitionCoCreate Software, Inc., a leading provider of flexible CAD and collaborative PLM software, today announced the winners of its 2005 Design Competition.
Digital cameras, construction cranes, medical devices, restaurant equipment, and even a wind-up chicken competed in the past month for awards in CoCreate's first design contest.
Top honors for overall best design went to Espeel NV, of Belgium, for a design of a 40-square-meter video screen and truck used to broadcast the daily arrival of cyclists to crowds at the Tour de France.
Espeel and individual category winners across 12 design groups will receive awards and their choice of gift from items such as cameras, printers, luxury pens, and power tools (all created with OneSpace Designer Modeling). Winners were selected by popular vote on CoCreate's web site.
"Congratulations to all of the winners of this year's competition, and kudos to all those that helped make this inaugural event a huge success by submitting their designs. Entries came in from all across the world and from a variety of industries. CoCreate appreciates the opportunity users provided to display the creative designs of our customers," said William M. Gascoigne, CoCreate CEO.
