Fijit Gives Guinness World Records the X FactorFijit has produced the new micro site for Guinness World Records (GWR), promoting this year’s EXPN sponsored X Games.
The site will feature all record-breaking attempts from the Aspen winter games and the LA summer games.
Peter Laker, Head of IT development at GWR commented,
“Fijit’s new creative together with GWR’s experienced in-house internet team has created an information-rich and visually stimulating website, all in the spirit of the games.”
The X Games (originally called Extreme Games) were first held in Rhode Island and Vermont, USA, in July 1995, and have been staged annually ever since.
In 1997, the first Winter X Games were held at Snow Summit Mountain Resort in California, USA.
The X Games are the brainchild of the sports TV network ESPN (Entertainment and Sports Programming Network), who were looking to create an international forum for action sport athletes.
Its popularity has continued to grow around the world, with top athletes now battling it out in various qualifying rounds for limited spots in the X Games.
The new site will go live for the LA summer X Games and will feature regular updates at guinnessworldrecords com
