Flashforward 2006 AustinThe largest Flash conference and film festival in existence, Flashforward, recently announced Austin, Texas as the site for its upcoming Flashforward2006 Conference and Film Festival.
Slated for September, Flashforward2006 expects to bring together more than 2,000 international professionals from the film, online programming and creative industries to meet, discuss and draw inspiration from leaders shaping the industry.
The September event will include: Keynotes from Adobe's Kevin Lynch, more than 60 workshops and hands on sessions, presentations from the creators of Homestar Runner and JibJab, a sold-out exhibit hall, the 17th Flash Animation Film Festival, job lounge, parties, and more.
Taking place in the modern new Hilton Austin, Lynda Weinman and her staff fully expect the September event to overshadow their past successes.
"Flashforward is the largest and longest-running Flash(r) technology-focused conference in the world.
In just six years we have brought together more than 20,000 professionals from more than 45 countries to exchange ideas, learn new applications and leverage this creative platform in such diverse industries as advertising, design, animation, film and motion graphics, " said Lynda Weinman, the conference's originator.
