European Ceramic Work Centre

The European Ceramic Work Centre is an international workshop where participants and staff members explore the artistic and technical possibilities of ceramics as a medium. Experiments are being conducted to find new ways of presenting ceramics. The acquired knowledge and experience is being spread nationally as well as internationally. The goal is to encourage the development of ceramic art and design.

The Agency for the Development of the Ceramic Design - A2D is an institution created in 2005, in Brazil, for the Ceramic Center of Brazil - CCB and the Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC. Its main action and services are come back to the accomplishment of research and projects in design having aimed at to raise the aggregate value of the national ceramic products, of form to contribute to extend the competitiveness of the Brazilian ceramic industry.
