Erhard Rom (scenic designer) over the past ten years has designed settings for more than 80 productions nationally. Some of his most recent projects include designs for the opera Carmen, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Volpone, a world premiere commissioned by the Wolf Trap Opera, and Pontalba, another world premiere commissioned by New Orleans Opera in celebration of the Bicentennial of the Louisiana Purchase. Other highlights include revivals of Tod Machover’s opera Resurrection, and Ned Rorem’s opera Miss Julie. |
