Hong Kong Fashion WeekJoin the fashion extravaganza this July in Hong Kong where over 800 fashion and fashion accessories manufactures are awaiting fashion buyers and peers from around the world.
Fashion parades are the quintessence of the fair.
Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the organiser, has arranged seven fashion parades to greet the international buyers during the Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/ Summer.
The "Hong Kong New Fashion Collection Award 2005-Prize Presentation" will raise the curtain for the fair.
Divided into two categories, namely "Casual & Jeans-wear" and "Contemporary Day-wear", the top models in town will parade the ten collections in the"Hong Kong New Fashion Collection Award 2005 - Prize Presentation".
Mr Andrew Leung, the chief judge, and sponsors will present prizes to the winners.
With an aim to raise the profile of the new generation of designers, the Young Designers (YD) Alumni Club members will present "YD Alumni Club Fashion Parade - Denim Evolution".
The theme "Denim Evolution" is to reflect the designers' youthful spirit and boundless energy, with models parading in an avant-garde construction site-inspired runway.
Riding on the recent Korean enthusiasm, "Korean Young Designer's Fashion Show" and "Supreme Corea Artist Fashion Show I & II" are parades featuring Korean fashion designers.
