 Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation Award WinnersEcco Domani released the 2009 vintage of the winemaker's eighth annual Fashion Foundation awards.The recipients are Lyn Devon, Matthew Ames, Cushnie et Ochs by Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs, and Ohne Titel by Alexa Adams and Flora Gill in the women's design category. Corpus, by Jerrod Cornish and Keith Richardson, was honored for men's design, and jeweler Monique Pean won for accessories. The foundation's inaugural award for sustainable design went to Bodkin Brooklyn designers Eviana Hartman and Samantha Pleet, who create bags out of old leather jackets. more www.wwd...  Puma Partners with Beam Interactive to Create Past Masher Virtual Wardrobe Web ApplicationAs part of its ongoing 60th birthday celebration, PUMA launched the PUMA Past Masher, a web application that lets site visitors upload a personal photo and mix and match over 60 years worth of some of the best and worst styles.Site visitors can create their own vintage look with unified styles from one specific era or mash-up a variety of different styles from the 1940's through the 1990's. PUMA Partnered with BEAM Interactive to create the Past Masher. "There's something irresistible and addictive about being able to quickly see how you or a friend looks in all kinds of styles from the last 60 years," says Dave Batista, ECD and Partner at BEAM. "The idea was to make it easy to achieve a natural looking visual - the kind that makes people smile or even freak out a bit." The Past Masher features more than 225 hairstyles, tops and accessories, offering 45 million possible combinations. Relive flat-top fades and paisley blouses, pompadours, acid-washed denim, track jackets and beehives or anything else in between. Some looks will confirm that not every fashion statement stands the test of time.  Modern Amusement Collaborative Artist SeriesModern Amusement, the label known for showcasing graphic sensibility and intelligent sense of humour on their own version of the canvas - the t-shirt - is introducing the "Artist Series" this spring, a wearable art collection.The inaugural collection features L.A based Eric Nyquist and Brooklyn's Jonathan Cammisa who put their own unique twist on the brand's trademark crow logo. Each season, Modern Amusement will add to the series by releasing a new design from a range of global designers. Eric Nyquist merges industrial and organic in his detail drawings; with each one the viewer is forced to get up close to study overlooked details. While the details create complex imagery, they also reference an increasing dependence on technology and its ability to distribute information. Its interpretation of the Modern Amusement's crow perfectly reflects his signature style. Jonathan Cammisa's illustrations are dark, morbid and beautiful all at the same time. His design for Modern Amusement is as unsettling as a horror movie.  Luella Bartley Named Designer of the YearLuella Bartley, fashion's poster girl for Chelsea style and Cornwall cool, was crowned "Designer of the Year" at the British Fashion Awards in London.Bartley, 34, is renowned for her quirky mix of alternative cheek and Establishment chic. A former fashion journalist with Vogue and Dazed & Confused magazines and largely self-taught, she made her London Fashion Week debut in 1999, with a catwalk show entitled "Daddy, Who Were the Clash?".
