Born in Tirol/Austria in 1971, Andreas Eberharter has learnt the profession of gold-smith and sculptor. Afterwards, he worked as a freelance artist in Vienna and assisted the artists Anna Heindl, Manfred Wakolbinger and Eva Schlegel.
His first exhibition took place in 1992.
After numerous national and international exhibitions on his own and with colleagues he founded the label AND_I in 2001.
The collections are being presented internationally, amongst others in Tokyo, Sao Paolo and in New York.
With his own collection of jewelry, self-designed accessories and wedding dresses, he arranged the opening event of the world largest wedding-fair of Asia in Bangkok in 2005.
Still to come this year is a new collection of jewelry, which is going to be presented in New York and will be sold internationally in well known fashion stores.
The jewelry is refined, clear, timeless, reduced and wearable.
The pieces are "everyday jewelry", with a unique design character that also makes them perfect for special occasions.
The collection consists largely of anodized aluminum specimens which can be grouped into two main themes: arm jewelry and necklaces.

This stunning display of jewellery and holloware is characterised by a uniquely Australian aesthetic that embraces raw as well as recycled materials, innovative design and use of technology, and a respectfully playful approach to tradition.
Conventions have been expanded and invigorated by introducing new ideas, processes and materials.
This exhibition encourages reflection on perceptions of jewellery making and metalsmithing as it introduces and emphasises the quality and value of design in the work of contemporary Australian practitioners.

Gap Inc. announced today that Jack Calhoun has been appointed president of Banana Republic, effective immediately.
Calhoun, 43, has been serving as interim president since February 2007 when his predecessor, Marka Hansen, was appointed president of Gap North America.
He will continue to report to Gap Inc. Chairman and CEO Glenn Murphy.
"Over the past four years, Jack has established a strong track record within Banana Republic that's enhanced our accessible luxury brand aesthetic," Mr. Murphy said today.
"Jack's leadership of the brand, marketing expertise and merchandising contributions demonstrate that he's the right leader to build upon the brand's success."
"It's a true privilege to lead Banana Republic and the talented team we have here," said Mr. Calhoun.
"Banana Republic is a strong brand with a great heritage - and I'm excited to have the opportunity to help the brand realize its tremendous potential."
Mr. Calhoun joined Banana Republic as executive vice president of marketing in 2003.
In 2005 he was given additional responsibilities for non-apparel merchandising, including Banana Republic's line of personal care products and handbag collection.

London based "multimedia" designer Gary Harvey showed his striking line of eco-couture dresses at Fashion Week LA on Saturday.
Each dress is unique and hand made.
Harvey's concept is to "re-contextualize " clothing for haute couture.
"I take something iconic like jeans, which have a certain context, and take that out of the everyday to make it into a ball gown", says Harvey.
"Newspapers I make into a dress that moves like a jellyfish or an anemone."
Harvey had worked as a design director or creative director for Top Shop, Top Man, French Connection, Dockers and Levis before bowing his first collection during London Fashion Week to rave reviews.
Harvey's pieces are recycled materials.
Jeans made into an elegant dress. Sweatshirts, with arms flowing like tentacles, form a skirt.
A clingy strapless gown made of camouflage fabric.
"Clean or Die" and other slogan t-shirts as an organic hemp dress.
A dress made of trenchcoats, in shades of tan and taupe, sewn together to create a flounce with good motion.
A gown made of plastic bags suggests Marie Antoinette, not Courtney Love.
Many of Harvey's designs feature flattering corset tops, often with a sexy laced bare gap all the way down the back... and on the bottom large romantic flowing skirts.
