The BBC has launched an online ethical fashion magazine.
Thread looks at the issues facing fashion conscious people who care where their clothes come from.
The designer Katherine Hamnett says "Thread is great because ethical fashion promises to be the next big thing and not just a passing fad. Young people are really interested in these issues."
Thread is said to cut to the heart of what "ethical fashion" means, covering a range of issues from the environmental footprint of clothing manufacture, to the impact of the fashion industry on human and animal rights and why the choices we make when shopping for clothes make a real difference.

The designer of Finnair's new uniforms has been chosen as Ritva-Liisa Pohjalainen, who is behind the well-known Finnish Ril's women's clothing brand.
Pohjalainen participated in a competition organized by Finnair between several invited top Finnish designers.
The quality of entries was exceptionally high and the scope of contributed ideas was refreshingly wide.
The starting point for the design of Finnair's new service uniforms was that the new image should be in line with the factors behind the success of the Finnair brand, especially freshness and "Finnishness", as well as in harmony with the planned new cabin appearance.
Ritva-Liisa Pohjalainen, known and awarded for the timeless elegance, clear lines and modern ideas of her designs, was judged to have achieved these aims most successfully.
Her experience and the practical demands of service uniforms were considered by the judges in their choice.
"The strengths of Ritva-Liisa Pohjalainen's designs are regarded especially to be their adaptability and compatibility with the planned new appearance of Finnair aircraft passenger cabins as well as with the wider success factors," says Jarkko Konttinen, Head of Finnair's global marketing communications.
"In my competition design work, I truly immersed myself in Finnair's world and applied all my skills with all my professional ability," says Ritva-Liisa Pohjalainen.

Inspired by Marimekko's fascinating and highly original pattern world, Mika Piirainen has designed a colourful and joyful collection which evokes fresh sea breezes and country cottages, as well as urban summers.
In the Dyyni pattern designed by Maija and Kristina Isola, the influence of the Memphis group of the 1980s can clearly be felt.
The curved forms of the pattern are repeated in the cuts of the clothes.
Maija Isola's Slavic-inspired Samovaari design from 1970 is both sturdy and decorative.
Isola's Omena pattern of small stylised apples (1956) adorns a fun, short trench coat, among other styles.
The restrained ornamentalism of Vuokko Eskolin- Nurmesniemi's Prenikka pattern is brought to the fore in beautifully made summer dresses.
A wide variety of summery accessories are also available; hats, scarves, bags, purses, sneakers, ballet slippers.
