Graduated in sculpture at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Roma, Sandra Di Giacinto, has always been fascinated by recycled material, by its countless working solutions, the different ways in which it can be treated and assembled into innumerable shapes.
The designer is strongly attracted by Japanese art.
However, the pleating technique that she uses draws inspiration from ancient Greece.
Her collections are therefore minimal, light, durable and brightly coloured.
Sandra Di Giacinto's work is characterized by the constant research of new types of materials.
All the jewels and bags are hand-made in limited edition, with an innovative use of materials.
The latest collection 2007 exposed last January at Maison et Objet international exhibition in Paris drew a lot of attention.
The collection has been selected by trendy boutiques all over the world and also by prestigious museum shops such as the SFMoma, the Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao, the Venice Biennale.

Form Us with Love, consisting of Petrus, John and Jonas work unconventionally and design every product or project in the same extent as it forms us.
The young design studio driven by their genuine love for design is debuting as designers for Axcent of Scandinavia this spring of 2007.
For Axcent of Scandinavia they have designed masculine cool pieces for the dressed and sophisticated man.
With a pattern that is visible throughout the collection the initial launch is the sunglass "Cockpit", a bold plastic sunglass with a thick masculine temple available in classic colours such as black, dark grey and ivory.
Later this spring of 2007 a small jewellery collection in stainless steel consisting of cufflinks, a ring and a sophisticated tie clip, all with the metal pattern will be launched.

Russian Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2007/2008 will commence April 1-8, 2007, in Moscow.
In its 11th season, RFW - the largest prêt-a-porter week in Eastern Europe features over 60 fashion designers from Russia, Ukraine, China, Great Britain, Spain, South Africa and other countries.
Runway shows are followed by parties and special events.
On April 5 Jade Jagger, daughter of Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger will host in Moscow Jezebel Party in honor of RFW.
On April 1, at 4 pm the famous British brand of Vivienne Westwood is to open the first day of Russian Fashion Week which is held in Central House of Artists, opposite to Gorky Park.
"We are proud to have significant Vivienne Westwood Gold Label collection for RFW Opening", says Russian Fashion Week Producer General Alexander Shumsky.
"RFW showcases best Russian fashion designers, up to 40-45 names every season.
It is good for local fashion industry to be on the same catwalk with international designers.
Also Russian Fashion Week is true gateway for international brands to fast growing Russian market ", adds Shumsky.
The renowned British duo Eley Kishimoto is to follow Vivienne Westwood with its autumn/winter 2007/08 collection.
British designer Jenny Packham makes show at RFW for the sixth season.
