Disney Consumer Products has launched an exciting new fashion line for tween girls inspired by the popular TV series "That's So Raven" and its spunky lead character Raven Baxter.
Designed by Disney, with input from Raven, the line features must-have looks for trend-forward girls ages 7 to 16 years old.
The new apparel and accessories collections arrived exclusively at Wal-Mart stores throughout Canada this August and are already proving to be a hit with strong sales performance.
The first collections "Free to Be Me" and "Mystic Chic" feature an eclectic mix of fun details, rich textures and a deep color palette of berries, turquoise and black.
Bright colors liven up cool fall days, while embellished garments are detailed with embroideries, faux precious stones and beading offering girls an imaginative way to express themselves.
Soft knits capture the fashion essence of winter using tweed yarns for an ultimate layered look. Both collections play up the importance of denim in a tween girl's life and offer her many ways to personalize and dress up outfits for special occasions or down for a subtle chic look.

Could you be the next Stella McCartney or Zac Posen?
If you're a high school senior who loves design and would like to pursue a career in fashion design or fashion marketing, The Art Institutes Passion for Fashion competition is for you.
The Passion for Fashion competition was created to recognize and reward young design talent at the high school level and encourage an education in the fashion industry.
At stake is a full scholarship worth up to $70,000 to study fashion design or fashion marketing, merchandising or retail management at one of 22 Art Institute locations in the U.S. or Canada that offer fashion programs.
In addition to a full tuition scholarship for both the fashion design and fashion marketing & merchandising and retail management categories, each grand prize winning student receives an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City during Fashion Week.
During their time in New York, the winning students will spend a day at Seventeen magazine and attend fashion shows.
Both the students and their winning entry will be profiled in an issue of Seventeen magazine.
In this year's Passion for Fashion competition students will be asked for to create an "evening wear" design for the fashion design category or a fashion marketing, merchandising or retail management plan for the corresponding category.

With New York Fashion Week just around the corner and ethical fashion becoming all the rage, many designers are rushing to add the sought after, bamboo evening gowns, hemp jackets or soy silk skirts to their collections.
Around the globe designers are introducing the latest merger-haute couture and conscious consumerism.
But what about those of us with a conscience, an eye for style and a slimmer pocketbook?
Ethical fashion is still struggling to find its way to the enlightened, yet more practical shopper.
In the midst of pricey, often impractical eco-couture, Mehera Shaw, a family-owned fashion house, is fast becoming the clothing of choice for the conscious consumer.
Shari Keller, designer and co-owner describes her line as, "a colorful, affordable, feminine, and unabashedly happy collection of blouses, skirts, and jackets that restore femininity, equity and environment."
Since its inception in 1999, the small fashion house has always had a vision for the sustainable future.
Mehera Shaw designer, Shari Keller, makes fair made artisan wear using couturier stitching techniques and low impact methods of production.

A dozen students from RMIT's fashion school are frantically preparing for their crack at international recognition this week.
As the world sleeps, they work, finding round-the-clock days a small price for a chance to be fashion's "next big thing".
Wednesday is D-day.
They will show their work for local and Asia-Pacific buyers and media at Australian Fashion Week, one of two trade events on concurrently with Spring Fashion Week in Melbourne.
"There's some global go-getters in this group," said Denise Sprynskyj, fourth-year co-ordinator of fashion in RMIT's school of architecture and design.
"There are some passionate, driven students as good as any in the world."
And as good as any crop of recent graduates from RMIT.
Ms Sprynskyj said the university's reputation for students comparable to those from London's St Martins and Royal College fashion schools is growing fast.
It's no small claim in an industry that closely monitors its hatching grounds and snaps up young stars, often before they have cut their teeth on a commercial collection.

His reinterpretation of the upper has been laid onto the original blueprints for each of the Air Max shoes to create a unique set of designs.
Eight sets of the footwear - a total of 64 pairs - will be produced for the auction.
