adidas and Stella McCartney are further extending their successful sport performance design collection by introducing the a" Flyride, a running shoe featuring the lightest heel-to-toe a3 cushioning system for women.
It is the first adidas technology to be launched exclusively through the adidas by Stella McCartney range.
The a" Flyride is the new generation of adidas' key cushioning technology, a3.
It was designed exclusively for women as was the fit which is built on adidas' special women's last. While featuring all a" cushioning benefits, the a" Flyride is lighter, softer and more flexible.
Additional benefits include extreme breathability through the engineered net mesh upper and sweat- absorbing and anti-odor treatments in the insole that will keep you comfortable even on hot summer days.
Stella McCartney: "I am honored to be given the opportunity to work with such an incredible technology. We have achieved a groundbreaking product: The a" Flyride is a truly innovative women's performance product and hopefully the best looking running shoe out there!"
The shoe has a unique look with the traditional foam cushioning replaced by the a" Flyride structure elements.

Ane Lykke has taken over the Danish Design Centre's exhibition space the Balcony with an interactive installation on the 5 x 3-metre back wall.
The exhibition is called "Mind the gap", inspired by the message on the loudspeakers as one steps off the trains in the London underground. The exhibition focuses the space between two parallel layers of hexagonal boxes:
"The exhibition explores a very common phenomenon, which we have all experienced, for example when passing two parallel grid fences. As we move we see new wave forms or patterns arising.
This is the principle that I have used in the exhibition.
I want to find new ways of affecting the perception of a space, demonstrating that the spectator plays a crucial part," says Ane Lykke, who adds that in physics this phenomenon is referred to as interference patterns.
In the exhibition Ane Lykke has covered the back wall of the room with a two-layered wall where the layers are separated by a 14 cm-space.
The layers are made of hexagonal plastics boxes with stripes made of red lines in varying density and directions.
