Muller & Meirer Develops High-Quality Men's Shoes with Porsche Design GroupThe Porsche Design Group and Muller & Meirer Lederwarenfabrik GmbH, based in Kirn, Rheinland-Pfalz, will also be collaborating in the field of shoes.
The two companies will join forces in developing and producing high-quality men's shoes under the Porsche Design brand.
The first shoes are to appear on the market in 2010.
In addition, a contract extension has been concluded for the soft luggage collection, which comprises leather goods and baggage.
Dr. Jurgen Gessler, Chairman of the Management Board of the Porsche Design Group, emphasizes the exceptional specialist knowledge of Muller & Meirer in the production of shoes: "Muller & Meirer is already producing high-quality shoes for other well-known brands.
The expertise of this company will enable us to complement Porsche Design's product range in an excellent manner."
